The wine list

Our wines are named to reflect the cultural heritage of their surroundings:
Cartusia is dedicated to the Certosa Monumentale (a Carthusian monastery in nearby Calci).
Nicosia is named after the small town where the old and now abandoned convent dating back to the 13th Century still stands.
Santo Pietro is named after the creek that runs through our vineyard.
Verrucano is named after the “verrucana” stone, a typical geological formation from the nearby mountains (Monti Pisani) which was used to build the millstones. Montemagno is a little village on the hills in front of our wineyard.
