The spring tasting returns to Fattoria San Vito in Calci, amidst vineyards, natural wine, and organic olive oil.
On Saturday, March 21st, Fattoria San Vito will once again open the doors of its winery to celebrate the arrival of summer with its traditional spring tasting, a day spent outdoors dedicated to natural wine, organic extra virgin olive oil, and exploring the Valgraziosa landscape.
From 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., under the winery’s pergola, visitors can participate in an informal tasting featuring two natural wines paired with a bruschetta made with the winery’s organic extra virgin olive oil. The tasting costs €10. For younger guests, there’s a special offer of apple juice and bruschetta for €5.
The initiative is designed as a convivial and relaxed opportunity to spend a few hours immersed in the Monte Pisano countryside, amidst the colors and scents of spring. During the day, you can also stroll freely through the estate’s vineyards, enjoying the landscape surrounding the winery.
Fattoria San Vito, a small family-run farm led by winemaker Matteo Piccioli, produces natural IGT Toscana wines and organic extra virgin olive oil, following the principles of organic farming and the philosophy of natural winemakers: no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used in the vineyards, and in the cellar, the wine is produced through spontaneous fermentations with minimal intervention, maximizing the expression of the terroir.
The tasting is open to all and offers an opportunity to experience the farm firsthand, which for years has welcomed visitors and enthusiasts with food and wine experiences immersed in nature.
Reservations are highly recommended.
